All dairies under MRCMPU are certified under the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, which ensures safety and hygiene from the point of milk collection to the final product. The system is built on internationally recognized food safety principles such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), which identifies and controls potential food safety risks at critical stages of processing.

Each dairy maintains CCPs (Critical Control Points), such as pasteurization temperature, homogenization pressure, product storage conditions, and packaging integrity, which are continuously monitored to ensure product safety and consistency.

The system also ensures full traceability, meaning every batch of milk and milk product can be traced back through its journey — from the farm-level procurement society to processing, packaging and distribution — ensuring accountability and transparency at every stage.

Kannur Dairy is also certified with the ISO Energy Management System, adopting LED-based energy-efficient systems and optimized utility management to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.

Wayanad Dairy holds ISO Environmental Management System certification, reflecting Milma’s commitment to sustainability through eco-friendly operations, water conservation, responsible effluent treatment and reduced carbon footprint.
